Frank wants to keep Mbeumo but Brentford may sell.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank admits the club could sell Bryan Mbeumo for the right price this summer. But is confident the football player would be happy if he stays.

“I’m a head coach, I want my best players to stay with the team.” Frank said.

“I know Brian is very happy here at Brentford. He’s doing well, doing well and playing very well. What the future holds, I don’t know.”

“I have said many times, ‘We are a club that sells players’. But at the same time we must also emphasize that there are 10 clubs around the world that are not a club that sells players.”

“So, of course, if the right price is available. Which would be a very high price, the club would be prepared to accept that offer. But I am very happy that he is here and I am sure Brian will continue to enjoy playing football here.”

Embo is not the only Brentford player who could be on the move this summer. With Forest set to make a move for Embo’s forward partner Yohan Wissa in January. While they are also interested in Dortmund’s Kevin Schade.

There are also reports from Germany linking goalkeeper Mark Flekken to Leverkusen.

“If we have to sell any players, I think it will be only a few,” Frank added.

“This is a group where some of the players have been together for a while. But there has been a change, which I think is good,”

“I expect to have the same team next season.”
